Loretta helped open Hugo Salon in 1989 and has been a stylist ever since. She trained in a public school which offered vocational education for cosmetology before finishing her education at Robert Lewis. She is Wella educated but has also attended classes with Redken, Framesi, Matrix, Goldwell, Schwarzkopf, Joico, and L’Oréal. She has also trained with Vidal Sassoon in New York, California, and Florida. She values the energy and camaraderie at Hugo Salon and enjoys maintaining relationships with her loyal clients.
Mimi was a client at Hugo Salon before being hired in 2005 as a receptionist. She immediately decided she wanted to pursue a career in cosmetology and began assisting at the salon from 2006 until 2008 when she became a stylist. She’s worked with Sonya Dove at Doves Studio in Santa Monica, completed multiple Wella Educational courses in LA and New York, taken classes at Bumble & Bumble University in New York, and attended Pulp Riot, Hattori Hanzo and Schwarzkopf classes throughout the DC area. She loves having the ability to make her clients feel good about themselves.
Bethany was 16 when she began her career at Hugo’s Salon in 1997, inspired by owner, educator and master stylist Toni Kim. In 99, Bethany moved to Palm Beach, FL and underwent a two-year apprenticeship under master stylist Louis Montenero at Cosmo & Company Salon & Spa. During that time, she also studied under Vidal Sasoon educator, Sean Donaldson; as well as razor cutting and other techniques at Bumble and bumble U. in NYC. From 2006-2012, Bethany was a master stylist at Studio 110 in Chicago, where she added wedding and event hair design to her training, under Renee Feldman. She was a personal stylist in Palm Springs, CA for a year, before returning to her home salon, Hugo’s in 2014! Bethany is an exceptional stylist, who listens to her clients and enhances their authentic self-expression.
Morgan has seven years experience since attending Paul Mitchell Hair Expressions.

Kali’s profesional career started in 2015 at the Aveda Institute in Washington, D.C. After graduating at the top of her class, Kali assisted and quickly earned her spot as our newest level one stylist. Passionate for hair color, Kali creates wearable hair to fit and enhance the guests lifestyle. From natural sun-kissed blondes to vibrant fantasy colors, she will be sure to create a look you love.
Amanda started as an assistant in 2014.
She is Wella educated and loves balayage and blondes. Amanda is also a makeup artist.
Jeanette started her career in 2014 at Hugo Salon and learned from our in-house educators. She has education from Wella, Bumble and Bumble, and Hot Heads Extentions. She was nominated in 2017 Behind the Chair One Shot Hair Awards for “Color of the year”. With rigorous training, she has perfected her hair painting techniques, creating stunning balayage styles. Jeanette has built a strong reputation for event styling with her updos. Her diverse skill set has earned her a varied portfolio and has perfected her ability to translate each guest’s vision. Jeanette is a Kerastase brand ambassador, educating guests with her product knowledge and tips for at home styling.
Rosa has been part of the Hugo team for 9 years. She specializes in skin fade and undercut designs as well as fantasy colors and balayage. She has education from Sassoon, Bumble & Bumble University, Wella and attended classes with @staygold31.
After high school, Marina attended Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School. When she graduated in 2014, she entered an apprenticeship program for about a year and a half to further her education. She worked under a senior stylist who had a major influence in the stylist she is today. She’s been a stylist at Hugo salon since 2017. She’s beyond thankful for the mentors she’s had throughout her journey. “In this industry, you never stop growing and the sky is truly the limit. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for my career!”
Erika began her career while in high school, studying the cosmetology program at Thomas Edison. She has advanced training with Wella Professionals and the DevaCurl cutting techniques. She loves attending hair shows and classes to explore new techniques to further her education.
